T’ho compro — Campaign for Barcelona City Council
In collaboration with Codea Creative Agency
This project was part of Barcelona City Council’s campaign to support local commerce, launched on the occasion of the European Local Commerce Day. Titled “T’ho compro” (“I’m sold”), the campaign highlights the value of proximity retail through familiar, human-centered storytelling.
I was commissioned to photograph the campaign thanks to my documentary approach and long-standing connection with Barcelona’s neighborhoods. The goal was to visually reflect the everyday character, charm, and emotional presence of the city’s local shops—from lifelong family businesses to street corners with stories.
The campaign paired my imagery with typography inspired by the signage of real stores across the city, creating a visual identity that felt rooted and authentic. Working with the creative team at Codea, we captured a series of moments that celebrate the people and places that make Barcelona Barcelona.
